You guys know I don’t like to admit it, but without a date, I get pretty lonely. Here’s the scoup, merely hours ago I devoured what seemed like a pound of bacon. On a weekend of datelessness, for once. I pretend to be ashamed about it. What does this mean? Honestly, that’s when I first considered joining a dating service with Great Expectations.

Nothing that can’t be fixed. I’ll ease back into dating thru professionally hosted Denver singles events. Probably could do me good. Why do I bring it up? I was at little Brent’s Easter egg hunt in Denver last week, my sister asked me if I have settled down with my soulmate. I don’t know why they even care. I didn’t want to answer, but then laughed, “what’s your deal, yo?”

There’s nowhere to hide when “The Twerp” (my nephew, age 9) mindlessly kept jabbing me along the lines of my personal matters. I leveled to all of them: “Hey look, do you even know me?”

Guess what? No one knew what I was talking about, as usual. Immediately, I fell asleep that night just to get some perspective. But I couldn’t get it out of my head! I can’t imagine what I was thinking there. Billy, who was a fellow Ram in high school (go Rams!) advised that I browse the singles profiles at Great Expectations. I said, “You know, that’s a good idea.” See, everything always works out. I will never regret joining the Denver Singles Events at Great Expectations.

At the time, dating events were kinda foreign from my perspective. I’d never done anything like this before, so much so that I got a little queasy. This faux pas could not bring an end to a great time. The evening was a limo pub crawl from heaven. The one cool thing that really struck me were the attractive, single women.

There’s something great about going to these glorious Denver Singles Events and parties at Great Expectations, I rubbed elbows with a handful of marvelous guys and gals who I could tell feel as excited as I am when talking about real-world dating. Don’t know why I ever let my family give their two cents about me not dating. Astoundingly enough, dating with Great Expectations is my pleasure and like a dream come true.
